Thee Angel Project

A year of writing a little bit of everything. Writers Write, Right?

a little sandpaper, a little paint

Baby steps.

The prospect of two, perhaps three of my children not being home with me for school next year is, well it’s about a thousand different emotions all at the same time. To deal with some of those emotions, I have been doing a little Buy, Sell, Trade site, Pinterest scrolling. Refurbishing wood stuff is the balm that heals all wounds right? I think we may be just about to find out.

I got this lovely little piece for $10 and used about $7 worth of primer and black paint. I had decided on black, and though I loved the look of the rocker when it was all primery white, the black matches our other outdoor furniture.

I’m pretty happy with the results and it’s done just in time for guests to start arriving at our new home! July is chock full of them. I can’t wait!

I want you to see life the way I see it. Often contradictory, seldom predictable, many times lovely, occasionally tragic, but every day filled with God's grace.
