I got a sneak peek (along with several hundred other people) at The Sound of the Rockies barbershop chorus’ contest set for the 2014 international competition in just two short weeks.

My dad is part of the chorus and has been singing forever, as far back as I can possibly remember.

I did a little sobbing like a baby as a brood of gnarly pirates carried in their set and took the stage for an awesome performance.

Chills, really.

I so wish I could be with them in Vegas, but I will be with the Pirate Formerly Known as Redbeard in spirit and all his matties too, as they get ready to plunder some gold and fly the good ole’ jolly roger in victory!

Ooo, more chills!
